File ICSF

     Name:     icsf
     Code:     icsf
     Label:     S2.1.39
     Number:     888

  • Description
  • A file containing the instantiated instrument command sequences to which the associated POF refers in a man-readable form, 1 file per revolution. It also contains the selected Memory Load address line configuration (prime/redundant) for each of the four instruments and a table containing the description of all the variables that appear in SELECT directives of the corresponding POF.

The ICSF is a file generated by MPP1 on a revolution basis at the same time as the POF. The format of an ICSF is defined in the MPP1 to MPP2 ICD (R10).

    Use and Related Data

An ICSF is available for each revolution of the ISO mission. Access to the ICSF would normally be made through accessing the associated POF.

These files are kept as they are. Note that an extract is also taken from the ICSF and stored in an SQL-queriable form (see the icsf_extract table).

A script called get_location.csh is used to extract an ICSF file for a certain revolution or observation.
