CAM01 (General Observation) is dedicated to photometric imaging in one of the two wavelength channels, using one or more PFOVs at one or more wavelengths. Observations can be made in the band pass filters as well as at individual CVF positions. A celestial raster can be performed with a step amplitude between 2 arcsec and 3 arcmin. It gives the possibility to cover areas larger than the FOV of the camera, and to improve the flat-field accuracy using the micro-scanning technique. It is recommended for the detection of weak confused or of extended sources, or in the presence of a structured background.
CAM03 (Beam-switching) is also dedicated to photometry, and is recommended for the detection of weak isolated sources, when there is not too much background structure.
