We present ISO LWS and SWS spectra of selected evolved stars from the LWS Post-MS Guaranteed Time programme. The targets include supergiants, post-AGB objects and carbon stars. A wealth of interesting features is seen, including rotational lines of molecules such as H2O and CO. Solid-state materials producing identified features include water ice, crystalline silicates and silicon carbide. These features are superposed on the steep (usually Rayleigh-Jeans) continuum spectrum of the sources. The ground-based discovery of UIR band emission from some M supergiants is confirmed by SWS observations.
