We present a far infrared spectroscopic study of the HH 24-26 region in the
L1630 Orion molecular complex. With the Long Wavelength Spectrometer on
board of the ISO satellite, we obtained spectra from 45 to 190 m
centered on HH24 mm, HH 25 mm and HH 26 IR, as well as on the blue and red
lobes of the HH26 outflow.
All the spectra present the [OI] 63m and the [CII] 158
m lines
while significant molecular emisssion from CO and H2O is detected only
HH 25mm and along the blue lobe of the HH 26 IR outflow, where the presence
of shocked activity is also evidenced by means of strong near infrared
knots. The origin of the observed emission will be analyzed and the
characteristics showed by the observed sources will be discussed in order
compare their excitation properties.
