The ISOCAM program on compact X-ray sources is opening a new field of research at the interface between High Energy Astrophysics and the Physics of the Cold Interstellar Medium. In this poster we describe the first steps into this relatively unexplored domain of research.

Using the unprecedented capabilities of ISOCAM in the mid-infrared on board of ISO, we have detected extended emission around the prototype black hole of stellar mass Cygnus X-1, and the prototype stellar source of relativistic jets SS433.

We present also last results about the soft gamma repeater SGR 1806-20 and the superluminic source GRS 1915+105.
