CAM Theoretical PSF library

Theoretical point spread functions (PSF) have been computed for the optical design of ISO The theoretical PSF includes the transmission profile of a particular filter by assuming a flat spectral shape of the source. Sampling is on sub-pixel scale of the CAM detector.

Note that no stray-light features have been considered. The PSF are stored as IDL save sets and have the following shape:

psf_filtername_pixel-field-of-view.save for fixed filters (e.g. psf_lw5_6as.save)

and

psf_wavelength-in-microns_pixel-field-of-view.save for CVF filters (e.g. psf_9p5mic_3p0as.save)

The PSFs are available with CIA.
