Slew times

There are 3 kinds of slews ( is in arcseconds):

  1. The micro-slew, between each point of a raster is computed according to the formula in ISO's observer's manuel, with the exception that the result is rounded to the next integer and one second is added. Thus:

  2. The re-positionning slew, still in raster mode, which used to from the last point of the raster to the first point of the next raster, in case more than one filter is used in the same AOT (

filters in a raster AOT result in

re-positionning slews), for which the time is computed according to:

  3. The beamswitching slew, between the source and the reference(s) which is computed again with:

Note that the re-positionning slew in raster and the beamswitching slew are considered as pointings so, as mentionned later, pointing overheads have to be added to

. These amount to 19s.
