The spectral resolution element size in grating mode is
given in table 1. It is 0.29 
m for the short wavelength
detectors and 0.60 m for the long wavelength detectors.
The resolving power of the FP has not yet been measured in orbit, and
we have therefore no grounds for changing the figure in the observers
manual (figure 8 on page 11). Observation of a narrow line at 145 m
give a resolving power of about 9000 at this wavelength, i.e. very close
to the groound based values.
