4 Wavelength Calibration Accuracies of ISOPHOT-S

As ISOPHOT-S has fixed gratings, no uncertainties because of mechanical jitter are involved. The wavelength scale has been best described by second order polynomials fitted to the measured central positions of 7 to 9 unresolved lines per detector array. The wavelength calibration is more accurate for the centre of the array than for the edge; both accuracy values are listed in Table 4.1.
