The P32Tools package is an addon to the PHT Interactive Analysis Software
to allow P32 observations to be corrected for the transient response
of the detectors.

The P32Tools software package is based on a PHT32 processing and
transient correction program (Tuffs & Gabriel 2003, A&A 410, 1075)
originally developed at the Astrophysics Division of the MPI für 
Kernphysik in Heidelberg. The adaptation of this program into PIA as
part of the P32Tools package was coordinated and supported by the 
ISO Data Centre at VILSPA of the ESA Research and Scientific Support 
Department. The dedicated GUI was developed at the Infrared Processing
and Analysis Center at Caltech.

The software is made available to the astronomical community on an as
is basis. Limited support can be given by the ISO Data Centre at
VILSPA, however no further development or bugfixing effort is
intended. Under certain conditions limitations to the functionality
of the software still exist and can be partly deduced from the
contents of the accompanying file "test_report.txt".

The installation instructions are in file "install_howto.txt". A
prior installation of PIA version 9.1 is mandatory. Please notice that
the package is included in PIA version 10.0 and higher, so that if
you install one of these, there is NO NEED to re-install P32Tools.
