Abstract:
The ISOPHOT Interactive Analysis (PIA), is the calibration, scientific
analysis and visualization tool for accessing and processing ISOPHOT data
from the spectrophotopolarimeter ISOPHOT on board ISO.
In this paper we discuss the lessons learnt by its development. Special
emphasis is given to the description of the succesful strategies followed,
which are surely important for future astronomical space missions.
