The PIA File View Window shown in FIGURE 1 enters a facility to have a look at the contents of FITS files without reading them actually into the buffers, a case of advantage for large files or small machines. It is called from the PIA Top Window with the option File View under the Files button.
The File View facility is not described in detail for the associated (Sub-)Windows are self explanatory.
