At the time of writing of this document, the polarisation AOTs PHT50 and PHT51 were not released. The details of the logic of these AOTs were still under close scrutiny by the ISOPHOT instrument team. More information will be provided as soon as the AOTs are released.
The estimation of the target dedicated times necessary to execute polarisation observations is described in Section 6.3.2. The computations are based on the most recent test observations on polarisation. First test results clearly show that the integration time per polarizer should be at least 256 sec, independently of the brightness of the source. AOTs PHT50 and PHT51 can only be used in single filter and fine pointing mode.
