Proposal Length and Figures

The OTAC encourages all proposers to be as concise as possible in their proposals. Limits on the length of a proposal are given in the IRPSS and its User Manual (e.g. about 3 pages for the scientific justification); however, proposers should not feel compelled to write proposals of maximum length!

Use of graphical material (figures, diagrams, examples of data, etc) is encouraged whenever it will help the OTAC to form conclusions on the scientific merit of the proposal. Up to two pages of graphical material may be attached to the paper copies of the proposal. Reference should be made in the text to the existence of the attachments.
