Observing Parameters

The following parameter(s) have to be specified for the entire map:

APERTURE (for PHT-P only): one aperture for the complete sequence of measurements
FILTER: specify central wavelength of each filter requested

For each point of the sparse map the observer specifies the following parameters:

POINT OR EXTENDED SOURCE: define type of source; this parameter defines whether the EXPECTED SOURCE FLUX is given in Jy or MJy
EXPECTED SOURCE FLUX: best available estimate of source flux (see Sect. 6.2)
UNCERTAINTY IN SOURCE FLUX: uncertainty of source flux estimate
MAXIMUM BACKGROUND FLUX: expected background flux at source position including all components (see Sect. 6.2)
INTEGRATION TIME or S/N: integration time requested for each position or, alternatively, the required signal-to-noise ratio
