During the testing of the OLP 6 software it was found that there is a significant difference between the velocities derived from lines observed with the short wavelength Fabry-Perot (FPS) and the long wavelength Fabry-Perot (FPL). Further investigations have shown that the calibrations for both FPS and FPL were wrong. A new calibration has been derived for both FPs. Unfortunately this calibration could not be integrated into the current version of the Off line processing software.
To correct the wavelengths in the Auto Analysis product for the new calibration is not straight forward, since it requires knowledge of the order in which the FP is working as well as the position of the FP. The correct wavelengths can be calculated from the SPD product, using the algorythm given in section 6.4.5. The new corrected calibration coefficients are given in table 7.1.

for the wavelength calibration of the FPS and FPL.
