We report observations of a fully sampled (spatially and spectrally) mapping of the central few arcminutes around the Galactic Centre, using the ISO LWS. The maps show the relative spatial distributions in about 20 different emission and absorption lines, and those of OIII, NIII, OI, OH, NII, CII, H2O, CO, CH will be shown. The circumnuclear disc is clearly traced by some molecular lines, whilst the central region dominates in other atomic and ionised lines. These results will be discussed in terms of photionisation modelling of the region.
We also report on a fabry-perot spectral scan across most of the LWS spectral range of material at the location of Sag A*,the putative black hole candidate. These high spectral resolution observations have sufficient velocity resolution to trace the kinematic structure of ionised, neutral and atomic gas at in the central cavity, and to reveal a number of weak lines which cannot be seen in the grating spectra, including HCN, H2O and CH.
Spectra will also be shown of several other interesting sources within the Galactic Centre cloud ensemble, including regions close to 'The Sickle', the thermal and non thermal filaments, the very high velocity source near the Galactic Centre, and SgrA East.
