With the opening of our archive, we also go live with a redesigned WWW site giving faster and easier access to all services, including the Explanatory Library and the data archive itself.
The ISO Data Archive can be accessed by all users, and does not require registration for browsing. However, to retrieve data, users must register (we need to know where to send the data!).
Please note that proprietary rights apply to ISO data. Owners of data have received their username and password, which allows them to retrieve their own data. Data from scientific programmes, which have entered the public domain, may be retrieved by any user. About 15% of the scientific data is already public. This will continuously increase and, by April 1999, nearly all data will be public.
